Padel Tenis Score Counter
Privacy Policy
Effective date: September 6, 2026
Last updated: September 6, 2026
Padel Tenis Score Counter, displayed as PTS Counter beneath its installed app icon, is an iPhone, iPad, and Apple Watch app for scoring tennis and padel matches.
Your privacy is simple: Padel Tenis Score Counter does not require an account, does not operate a backend server, and does not collect your player, match, score, or statistics data.
This Privacy Policy explains how information is handled when you use Padel Tenis Score Counter and its companion Apple Watch app (together, the “App”).
1. Developer
Federico Barca
Email: privacy@galgoapps.com
For the purposes of applicable data protection laws, the developer identified above is responsible for personal information that the developer actually receives or controls.
2. Information we collect
Padel Tenis Score Counter does not collect or transmit your player, match, scoring, or statistics data to the developer.
The App:
- does not require a user account;
- does not operate a developer-controlled backend server;
- does not contain third-party advertising;
- does not use third-party analytics SDKs;
- does not use tracking SDKs or advertising identifiers; and
- does not track your activity across other companies’ apps or websites.
We do not sell or rent personal information or share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.
3. Information stored on your device
To provide its features, Padel Tenis Score Counter stores information locally on your device. This may include:
- player names or nicknames;
- match participants and teams;
- match settings and scoring rules;
- scores and point history;
- serving information;
- match dates and results;
- locally calculated statistics;
- presets; and
- App preferences.
This information is stored within the App’s local storage and is not sent to a developer-operated server.
You do not need to use real names. You may use nicknames or other non-identifying labels when creating players.
Please avoid entering sensitive or confidential information into player names or other text fields.
4. Apple Watch
If you use the companion Apple Watch app, information necessary for Watch features may be transferred between your iPhone and paired Apple Watch using Apple’s WatchConnectivity technology.
This may include information such as players, teams, scores, point history, match information, serving information, presets, and Pro entitlement status.
This communication takes place between your Apple devices for App functionality. The information is not transmitted to a developer-operated server.
5. Device backups
Padel Tenis Score Counter does not operate its own cloud synchronization or backup service.
However, depending on your Apple device and backup settings, Apple may include locally stored App data in an iCloud backup or in a computer backup.
These backups are controlled by you and Apple. The developer does not have access to them.
Deleting information from the App or deleting the App may not immediately remove copies contained in an existing device backup.
6. In-App Purchases
Padel Tenis Score Counter may offer optional purchases through Apple’s App Store using StoreKit.
Payments, billing information, refunds, transaction processing, and related payment services are handled by Apple.
The developer does not receive your full payment-card number, bank-account information, or Apple Account password.
The App may receive Apple-verified information about your purchase or entitlement so that purchased features can be unlocked or restored.
Apple handles this information according to its own terms and privacy policies.
7. Apple analytics and diagnostic information
Apple may make aggregated sales, installation, usage, performance, or diagnostic information available to developers through App Store Connect.
Some diagnostic or usage information may depend on whether you have chosen to share analytics with app developers through your Apple device settings.
These reports do not give us access to the player names, matches, scores, or point history stored locally by the App.
The App does not include its own third-party analytics SDK.
8. Information you send to us
If you contact us by email or another support channel, we may receive information that you voluntarily provide, such as:
- your name;
- your email address;
- the contents of your message; and
- attachments you choose to send.
We use this information only as reasonably necessary to respond to your request, provide support, maintain and secure the App, comply with legal obligations, or establish, exercise, or defend legal claims.
Where applicable, we process support communications to respond to your request or take steps at your request, perform our agreement with you, comply with legal obligations, and pursue our legitimate interests in supporting, maintaining, and securing the App.
We retain support, privacy, and legal communications only for as long as reasonably necessary for those purposes and to comply with applicable legal requirements or establish, exercise, or defend legal claims.
Please do not send sensitive information unless it is genuinely necessary for your request.
9. Deleting your information
Player and match information stored by the App can be managed from within the App.
You may delete player records and matches using the controls provided by the App.
Deleting a player removes the player from the roster, but existing match records may retain a snapshot of that player’s name so that historical matches remain understandable.
To remove that name from local match history, you must also delete the relevant matches.
Deleting a match removes that match and its associated scoring history from the App’s active local database.
Deleting the App removes its active local data from that device, subject to Apple’s operating system and backup behavior.
Copies of earlier data may remain in device backups until those backups are deleted or removed according to Apple’s backup settings and retention processes.
Because the developer does not maintain a server copy of your player or match database, we cannot remotely access, export, modify, recover, or delete information that exists only on your device or in a backup controlled by you or Apple.
10. Your privacy rights
Depending on where you live and which privacy laws apply, you may have rights regarding personal information that we actually possess.
Where applicable, these rights may include:
- access to your personal information;
- correction of inaccurate information;
- deletion;
- restriction of processing;
- objection to certain processing; and
- data portability.
Where processing is based on consent, you may withdraw that consent at any time. Withdrawal does not affect processing that was lawful before consent was withdrawn.
Most player and match information handled by the App remains only on your devices and is therefore not accessible to us.
For privacy requests concerning information we actually possess, such as a support email you sent us, contact privacy@galgoapps.com.
If European Union or European Economic Area data protection law applies to you, you may also have the right to lodge a complaint with the data protection authority where you live, work, or believe an infringement occurred.
If UK data protection law applies to you, you may have the right to lodge a complaint with the UK Information Commissioner’s Office.
The App does not use automated decision-making or profiling that produces legal or similarly significant effects.
11. Service providers and international processing
If you contact us or visit this web-hosted Privacy Policy, our email, hosting, or similar service providers may process limited information necessary to provide those services.
Depending on the service, this may include information such as your email address, message content, IP address, or ordinary technical request data.
Where a service provider processes personal information on our behalf, we require it to use that information only to provide the relevant service and to protect it consistently with this Privacy Policy and applicable law.
Some providers, including Apple or communication and hosting providers, may process information in countries other than your own.
Where applicable law requires safeguards for an international transfer for which we are legally responsible, we will use an appropriate lawful transfer mechanism.
We do not intentionally transmit player, match, score, or statistics data to email, hosting, advertising, or analytics providers. However, Apple may process locally stored App data when you enable device backups, as described in Section 5.
12. Information about other people
The App allows you to enter names or nicknames for opponents, partners, teammates, or other players.
You are responsible for ensuring that you have an appropriate reason, permission, or other lawful basis to enter information about another person.
We recommend using nicknames when a person’s real name is unnecessary, particularly when entering information about children.
Information stored in the App may be visible to anyone who has access to your unlocked iPhone, iPad, or paired Apple Watch.
13. Children
The App is a general-audience sports utility and is not specifically directed to children under 13.
We do not knowingly collect children’s personal information through a developer-operated server, advertising service, or analytics SDK.
Parents, guardians, coaches, or other users may enter a child’s nickname or name into the locally stored player list. We recommend using a nickname where appropriate and entering information about children only when you have appropriate authority to do so.
If you believe that we have received a child’s personal information through a support communication, contact us at privacy@galgoapps.com.
14. Security
The App reduces privacy risk by keeping player and match data locally on your devices rather than transmitting it to a developer-operated server.
Local App information benefits from the security features provided by Apple’s operating systems and your devices.
You are responsible for protecting access to your devices and Apple Account, including by using appropriate passcodes and security settings.
No electronic storage or transmission method can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
15. Third-party services
The App relies on Apple services for functions such as:
- App Store distribution;
- in-app purchases and entitlement verification;
- Apple Watch communication;
- optional device backups; and
- Apple-provided analytics and diagnostics.
Apple processes information associated with those services according to its own terms and privacy policies.
The developer does not share player or match information with advertisers, data brokers, or marketing platforms.
16. Changes to this Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy if the App’s features, privacy practices, or legal obligations change.
When we make changes, we will update the “Last updated” date above.
If a future version of the App introduces features that materially change how information is collected or handled — such as accounts, cloud synchronization, advertising, third-party analytics, or a developer-operated backend — this Privacy Policy will be updated accordingly.
